Chase Boosted Rate Svr trkr have reduced the bonus on the account from 2.25% to 2% to new customers, taking the overall rate from 4.75% to 4.5% for new customers

Secure Trust Bank Access Account (Issue 23) 4.20% NLA, replaced by Issue 23 at 3.65%

Santander Edge Saver 6.0 % £4k MAX inc 2.0% 12mth bonus set to go NLA.

Replaced by Issue 4 at the same rate but with a bonus of 2.5% for 12 months.

Any possibility to have both ?  I haven't tried applying or is it automatically blocked/recognised ?

    Sadly it's recognised.

You can now get an extra Edge Saver as they've launched their Edge Explorer current account and you can have one Edge Saver in sole names for each Edge account and Edge Explorer account you hold, however the Edge Explorer account comes with a £17/mth fee and there isn't a way to dodge the fee on the Explorer account that I can see.

Thanks.  That's too much.  The interest on £4K is around £20 so not much profit.  I don't know what the benefits are.  Probably most things I wouldn't use or need.

I was pleased to see that Santander Edge basic waives the £25 fee on CHAPS payments.  Never made one of those, only received.  Might try to see what happens.  Probably find there is some hidden intermediary charge or a fee chargeable to the sender for receipt into the beneficiaries account.  Similar to all the hurdles for foreign transfers.
