Do Cynergy use Barclays? A transfer to my current account has left but not arrived. Really problematic at the end of the month.

Banks try the standing orders twice. 

Assuming your 7k isn't covered by an arranged overdraft, the first time will generate will a text message saying that you don't have sufficient funds and giving you until 4pm to deposit funds.

Santander will then automatically try again in the afternoon - this is after the time Gatehouse withdrawals are usually deposited (lunchtime).

Did you not see any of the earlier posts regarding the Barclays IT outage yesterday?

Their service status page and Twitter Help a/c suggests that there are still issues today. Despite being the 1st of the month, I’m holding fire moving money into certain RS accounts at present.

Charter 47 closed and issue 56 opened. 4.48% on the monthly interest. Not too bad considering best buys with computer management are 4.7%

BTW Charter use Barclays for their payments and they got the £1 that I sent from another bank today to open the account.

Still no sign of the withdrawal i made from Gatehouse on Thursday evening.
