There are some banks who don't let you withdraw straight away, although you'd expect that to be mentioned in the Gatehouse EA T&Cs if that was the case for that account.0

Deposits made after 1pm will show by close of business the following day. Is your £5 showing on the account? If it's not showing then it might be the reason for absence of transfer button.Rheumatoid said:
Thanks but there is no transfer option in my app. Only 'pay in'moi said:

Have written to them.refluxer said:There are some banks who don't let you withdraw straight away, although you'd expect that to be mentioned in the Gatehouse EA T&Cs if that was the case for that account.16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Not going to open this account yet. I don't want to chance them paying the proceeds from my regular saver onto this, instead of the 5% easy access account some people have recently been given.Rheumatoid said:Just opened a Gatehouse account. Did it say anything about a code being sent in the post for account validation before a withdrawal can be made? I know I've had these in the past when opening some savings accounts but I can't remember now if my Gatehouse account was one of them.Rheumatoid said:Just opened a Gatehouse account. Also see no way to withdraw using browser!checking my emails, when I opened my first Gatehouse account two years ago, they must have sent a welcome letter in the post... it contained a code to enter to authenticate my nominated bank account on the website... possibly you still need to authenticate your nominated account before the withdraw option is available.I should add that back in the day, it was a week between opening online and receiving the letter in the post.0 -
Might be the case but no mention of it in commsjanusdesign said:

CoP for nominated account was also undertaken during application.16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. I had another easy account open when my regular saver matured on Sunday and the balance was not transferred out. Gatehouse changed the reference number for the account that the Regular Saver money was held in so it automatically became the 5% account
oops sorry @Middle_of_the_Road I appear to have deleted your post I was trying to quote!Save £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty1 -
I already had their EA account, but when the RS matured, the balance was transferred to the 5% EA account by Gatehouse.Middle_of_the_Road said:
