Yesterday, we emailed you about your variable savings account(s) interest rate going down. In those emails, we incorrectly stated that the interest rate changes would take effect from 10 December 2024.

The correct date for the interest rate changes should have been stated as 24 December 2024. However, given this error, we will delay the rate changes so that they do not take effect until 27 December 2024. You will continue to benefit from your existing rates until then.

We deeply regret this mistake and understand how important clear and accurate communication is to you. Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

If you have a notice account with us, you now have until 13 January 2025 to move some or all of your funds to another Monument account or your Linked Account, without needing to provide the relevant notice for your account. To do so, please contact us via the Monument App or call our Client Service Team.

All other information in the emails, including the interest rates stated, was correct.

A very good way to sincerely apologise and to give your savers a small Christmas bonus (savings boost) at the same time. Well done Monument, eventually!

"Transfer" on the app is withdraw to one's nominated account.

On the website, it's "Account Options" drop down > "Move Money"

Thanks but there is no transfer option in my app. Only 'pay in'

I don't have that option either.  I will give it 24hrs to see if the options appear
