Speaking to customer services at JL in Cheadle today (following further reading on this thread that people had managed to get the deal in various stores) the customer services lady has investigated and informed us that the ps3 deal is not available as there are no PS3s available, she says that those people who have been told that their PS3 will follow when it becomes available will NOT be getting a pS3 and will be getting their TVs for£899.

And the offer had offically eneded on 24th Dec so they are under no obligation to carry on honouring it

OH now VERY fed up as this was the TV he wanted and this looked like a good deal

on my undersales form, it said "with PS3", and also confirmed with the guy on the phone (once they were willing to price match) that it will come with both. My relative already received both last Saturday....:money:

Hi What price did they PM against please as I am still awaiting a call back on my PM.

Have just spoken to JL and my PS3 is still on order, there are some due instore and I have been given a lead time of 7-10 days.

Noticed on JL website that the 46" TV/PS3 offer at £1699 comes with Spider Man The High Definition Trilogy on Blue Ray Disc. Do we get this with the 40"?

They price matched Argos which was £999 I think at the time, but they had to add on the £4.95 extra it would cost Argos to deliver, hence £1003.95 is what we are paying. JL are lucky I didnt decide to call them after to claim back my £4.95, after seeing it on the JL website for £999:o

HAD A NICE CALL FROM JL TODAY SAYING THE TV ON RESERVE WOULD BE COMING BUT WITHOUT THE PS3, AFTER A SIMPLE CONVERSATION. ME POINTING OUT THAT THEY WERE STILL DOING THIS IN THEIR OTHER SHOPS WHEN I ORDERED IT, THE KIND CHAP CAME BACK TO ME TEN MINS LATERTO SAY THEY WOULD PROVIDE BOTH ITEMS AND WAS VERY SORRY FOR ANY PROBLEMS, BUT ALL STORES HAD RECIEVED EMAILS STATING THEY SHOULD NOT SELL THESE DEALS AS FROM THE 24TH DEC, BUT THEY ONLY GOT EMAIL ON 30TH DEC ..... If anyone was interested in the 46" that came with the free PS3, this is now showing as in stock on the JL website. A bit too expensive for my liking though lol!
