I got one of these online yesterday for £999 with the ps3 and 5 yr warranty, I was going to mull it over, but as soon as dh heard about the ps3 that was it!!!!

We were only going to get a 32" for around £500 so spent more than intended, but excited about getting it, they have been on the phone today as well and are delivering on Monday 7th Jan.

I had researched this tv on another forum which deals with this sort of techie thing and I have seen that people are still getting this deal instore, so worth a visit to a JL if you have one in your area...also I am getting the gist that not all staff are clued up to this (I originally phoned about the ps3 offer yesterday morning as it wasn't coming up correctly online and was told the offer had finished!! but apparantly it doesn't end till the beg of Jan)

Toy r us are doing a deal similar to this, buy the ps3 and get the TV free, maybe worth looking into.

I ordered one yesterday for my parents but they cancelled it because I was not on the electoral roll at that address, and they did it to 'protect me' ! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Congrats to the person that got the TV after it was released back into the system.

I phoned them and after a long conversation with first the agent and then a supposely 'higher up', they will get someone to call me back before next wednesday (customer assistance dept or something). Any advice on this? Chances are I will not get this deal but they are the ones that messed up. They did not bother to call me because I supplied a mobile number instead of a landline and they prefer landlines (their words, and is it by law I have to a landline? no? thought not). I ordered from them before and used my credit card which I then have to go through the securecode thing and was accepted so they can't really claim fraud. And when I said to them using electoral roll is just wrong for so many different reasons (they have the full one not the edited one apparently) they just don't seem to care. They say if I ordered and shipped it to the billing address it would have gone through, so why offer the option to ship it somewhere else at all?

Sorry for the rant, need to get it off my chest, I went to a shop with the TV in action today and on blu-ray it looks fab.

Went to Jl at Handforth Dean today to look at this offer as it was a tv that we had already thought we wanted and seemed like a great deal with the PS3,
staff in store said they knew nothing about the offer, that they had not had it themselves and that as they were nothing to do with the online store and they woudnt be willing to honor the same deal as the online deal, and that stores that were doing this shouldnt have been offering it

We phoned the MK John Lewis store today and managed to order one no problem. They are delivering next Saturday.

They knew exactly what offer we were talking about.

Not sure what's going on with them. Hope it all arrives safely now!!
