For £999 !!! An absolute bargain I say!

5 year warranty on the tv, and 1 year on the PS3. I bought this TV, and PS3 bundle yesterday! I got John Lewis to price match Argos at £999.

Now today, John Lewis are themselves selling it at £999.

Currently OUT OF STOCK, but I would try reserving it/whatever is possible. If you consider the fact the PS3 is £299, for £700, you are getting a 40 inch HDTV (full 1080p), FLAT SCREEN & WIDESCREEN. I dont think there is a better offer than this on a 40" or 42" tv with such good specs.

In my opinion it was a good buy, but for others it may not be:rolleyes:

I did have some problems with this deal, since I got it price matched at John Lewis Oxford Street, and John Lewis Brent Cross, with the Oxford Street branch calling me today to say they won't price match Argos, but Brent Cross did price match, so I didnt complain:money:

I have to pay £1003.95 or something, because they had to add on the delivery cost for Argos. I am going to call tomorrow, and get them to refund my £4 odd back.

This is a good deal, if you're after the PS3. If not, JL at Cribbs have the TV on undersales at £899 - matching Curry's I think.

Seems both Argos and John Lewis are now both out of stock, is anyone aware of elsewhere offering the deal, or will Sony Centre price-match on the deal??

I spent most of yesterday mulling it over and finally bit the bullet and secided to order and the darn thig was out of stock!!!! Grrrrrr
