Don't know if this is any use to anyone, but I came across this site yesterday while looking for some diet stuff online (I've got a stubborn half stone or so I could do with losing but nothing seems to make much difference to it) - http://www.fitday.com - you can put in what you've eaten and it counts the calories for you, plus works out how many you've burned through exercise and keeps track of goals etc for you. Gave me a bit of a shock when I put mine in - I eat far too much fat
Anyway, thought it might be handy... one of my friends is doing Weightwatchers online and seems to be paying for a similar sort of system!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Boo - stayed the same this week! not too worried yet but will try and up the exercise a wee bit. Did find some lovely trousers for work in my wardrobe and I can get them on and fastened now...just need to lose the muffin top!Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I'm not expecting a loss this week as I have been trialling that fitday programme recommended by redsquirrel. Its kinda neat, but it does allow you to fiddle with your calories to allow for naughties, hence the fact I'm not expecting a loss but you never know as I have been working extra hard on exercising. Time will tell I suppose. I'll post my gains, losses or STS tomorrow morning so long as someone remembers to post so I can reply to it.:A:A:A:A:A:A0

Sorry only just got on to do this.
Friday was 11st 4.5 so only 1/2 a lb down.
Never mind I am still going (was another 1/2 down this morning - naughty in-between weighing!!)
Had some lovely compliments though about how much I have lost so far. A couple of people mentions how slim I looked in my summer garb which I was well chuffed about.
I still have a big round !!! to lose though. My top half seems to be smaller (size 12) and my bot is still a 14.
I can't get the hang of fitday, am I on the wrong one? it is all in US measurements ie cups which I find totally random.0 -
Oooh can't say "a s s" on here!! Seems like "bot" is acceptable though0

You can use grams too, at least in the downloded programme you can. I usually do a quick google search for the american weight of anything I dont know. for instance 125ml is roughly 4 fl oz. and if I come up against something thats british like low calorie cheese I just find some kind of cheese and alter the weight until the calories are right. It is annoying having to look up the american definition of stuff (full fat milk is 3%, semi is 2% and skimmed is 1% apparently), but I still find the programme quite useful.. mind I havent lost any weight since I've been using it so that not a wonderful testimonial :rotfl:
At least I havent got too far behind this week though
I have the opposite problem re clothes, I always have to buy a size bigger in tops because my boobs get in the way. LOL.:A:A:A:A:A:A0
