Spud, let yourself have a week off. Then remind yourself how much better you felt when you were dieting. How much thinner you felt. How much more energy you had. Then think about how you've felt this week eating crap.
Dont think I *HAVE* to lose weight because of X, think more along the lines of I want to lose weight because its an active choice. You can have a burger, or a packet of crisps or five biscuits if you really want them and no-one is going to tell you off, but at the end of the week you will feel like !!!!!! because you havent lost anything. Which is more important to you? I know how euphoric I feel when I see I've lost and how depressed I get when I havent and for me thats what keeps me going.
Have faith and dont be too hard on yourself after all, you are the harshest critic you will ever meet.

    Thanks Safe hun.

To be honest, I've had over 3 months off and have put just under a stone back on I think

You're right about how much better I felt when I was eating properly (notice how I didnt call it a diet ;) )

Tigtag and I have just agreed to support each other, starting Tuesday so I will try my best not to let her down.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Hello Sar

I have put a bit of weight on recently and really need to do something about it before the summer.

I caught sight of myself yesterday in a full length mirror in Next shop and I nearly died when I noticed my muffin top over my jeans showing through my clothes.

So for me I am having a Belly, Waist and Arms challenge as my bum funnily enough is quite nice.

My measurements today, using a tape measure that was too small so I will buy another one are:

    Belly 36"
    Waist 33"
    Arms 11.5"
Current weight 10 stone:eek: I have never been this in my whole life and after the birth of my second son 12 years ago I was only 7 and a half stone so I was lighter at 9 months pregnant than I am now.

OH got a treadmill for Xmas and we live in the countryside so no excuse for not walking.

I dont eat huge meals but do like the wine and snack on an evening.

I would ideally love to get down to about 9 stone and loose a couple of inches from everwhere.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Right I am rejoining in with this as from tomorrow - would have been today but I am currently eating an easter egg so not the best start.

Going to weigh myself later which I am dreading and will make some pasta this afternoon to take into work tomorrow.

    Wish me luck! x x

I stayed the same this week - am OK with that as 'auntie flo' week and not really been very good because of crazy pmt cravings and madness so not bad really.

Right better get up and have a shower as am off to see a man about a flat.
