MrsCautious said:Hello, number 9 for me today.
even though I know this is doing well, i know I could have done a little better so far as I’ve nipped to the shop to buy snacks I really didn’t need! Also happy and grateful to have ‘broken’ an NSD to buy a Father’s Day card.Today will be an NSD but tomorrow won’t. After that I’m away for 10 days, I’m likely to pop on and update.
I’m in the midst of job hunting and am having what could be fairly called mixed fortunes - one interview resulting in ‘you were a VERY close second’, one interview resulting in ‘come and spend some time with us and see what you think’, (this is a one day a week charity role I’d love but would need more freelance work around it) an interview yesterday I felt went well but don’t want to jinx it, about 3 didn’t get an interview and one ‘you did so badly at interview there’s no way we could give you the job’ — hahahaha! Three more waiting to hear if I’ve got an interview. It’s a bit exhausting. 🤣
But on a serious note clearing off on holiday when I’ve no salary is making me a little anxious! I’ve got possible freelance work when I’m back so that’s positive and have been enjoying doing that these last weeks. And I got a tax refund last month that was significant and has helped me not get too stressed this month.Good luck all and that’s me wittering on x1 -

@MrsCautious good to hear re the tax refund and you seem to have a lot of things in the pipeline so I'm sure something will come your way, especially given the positive responses you got. In my view the job hunting process is a bit of a lottery and comes down to subjective factors the interviewers may not have really thought that deeply about in terms of who they feel would be a fit, so it really doesn't reflect on you if they pick someone else for the job. By the sound of it though things are hopeful xx1
