Looks like we've got a good bunch of people going for it this year then... I am so excited for us all! As we're just over a quarter of the way through the year I feel like I am on target (hoping none of the nasty surprises that come to bit us on the butt appear!) for the £8000 and really hoping to make £12,000 but the £8000 will do me for the moment!

Thanks isom for the book recommendations, will get onto those two very soon. Might pop down to the library at the weekend and see if they are in!

Just updated signature for April and pleased I am still on track. Expensive month with car service, car tax and new glasses, but my £100 joining incentive from First Direct arrived in my bank account straight after the 3rd pay-check went in.:j

Also managed to clear the smaller of the two credit cards in full and as my balance transfer deal was coming to an end did a fee free transfer to First Direct credit card, with low 2.9% for 6 months.:T

Loving First Direct so far and would highly recommend them (text message alerts are great to keep track of your balance).
