    Hi, need your help here.

Ive only received the letter TODAY, the court stating that they do not have a copy of my defence. I was actually requested to send the defence, and the letter date was 29th Nov (which was weeks ago!) and they requested me to send a copy of the missing defence to the court by 20th Dec.
I checked my email and I could see the auto reply by Claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk, and I DID send it on 3rd Aug

I have already emailed Claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk again and waiting for their reply.

What else can I possibly do now??????

    Very common.

But - eek - you need to email it to the court that lost it. Clearly not the CNBC!  Look what it says: if an order comes from x (your local court) asking for something they are missing/can't find, you don't send it to y (the original gateway admin centre from the Summer that are no longer involved in your case).

Just cover it in the email that the Order only just arrived so here's the defence again.  Google to find the local county court's hearings email address.

    Just a quick update:

I have emailed the local country court, stating the matter and attached a copy of my defence pdf file. However, I still havent received anything from them (apart from an auto response stating they have received my email and will reply to me within 10 working days).
I tried calling the county court number and it only directed me to different pre-recorded messages with options that do not relate to my case/told me to hang up.

Courts are currently backlogged and things wont start moving at a snails pace until next week,  a normal business week following the long xmas and new year break

Just received an email from DCBlegal today, sharing this for you to have a laugh.

"We write to you in relation to the above matter.

To assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client may be prepared to settle this case. I can confirm our Client would be agreeable to £60.00 in full and final settlement of this Claim. The current outstanding balance is £2XX.XX.

Should you be agreeable to this offer, please ensure payment is made within 14 days of this email."

Of course I'm not paying a penny.

Hi, Ive received the this letter today from the court.
What does it mean "unless the court orders otherwise, I will also be liable for the costs which the defendant has incurred.
Just as the Newbie post says, "the Claim form did not specify the term breached". So what exactly do I need to put in the witness statements??? I dont even know what term I breached. I honestly do not really know what to write and what documents to include.

If the claimant (not you, as you are the defendant) fails to pay the trial fee, then, if the claim is struck out, the claimant (not you) pays any costs that the defendant (YOU) incurs.
