For those who are new to OS and/or really needing to reduce spend there are loads of tips on the OS threads - like using half the amount of washing powder, dishwasher tablet etc and get just as effective a clean. Have a browse through the OS index and you'll find a huge amount of information. If you have any particular questions please post here, or on any os thread, for help. There are always people here with advice and support.... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Windowshopper100, just been on doing it now. Taking some doing with all these new members but getting there, hopefully it will encourage some to stick to it once they are 'signed up'. My second point, DO NOT base your spending on that of other people, please
Others may eat less at home, include less things, have enough in to feed a large army
or just be able to source food cheaper. Some also manage to use coupons etc which I know many like me can not. Don't do what you are uncomfortable with.
A note for everyone else aswell, we've had this conversation many times on here, those who tend to 'give up' or 'over spend like crazy' are those who set a budget which they can not manage on. Aim for what you can achieve then drop it gradually is usually the best way. If you don't know what you usually spend (I didn't then scared the **** out of myself) maybe use this month as a month where you just carry on as normal (you will find yourself being more careful most likely) work out what you spend then 'shave' bits off from next month.
Moniker, I'm not finished on December either, I've made the mistake of posting here too early then blowing what was left of the previous months so I shall be over in the December challenge for a while yet, just wanted to get the list started, anyone can join at any point. One day I might be more organised...........

I will stick to £150 as it's a five week month. I would rather drop it next month I think.
