Everyone so far has been added, this post is mainly for me so I don't get lost off :rotfl:
This challenge list may help some reduce their signatures, I know many who have more than 4 LINES have had them removed by moderators and if you are using just those to track something you will not get to see the data once it is deleted as they do not PM you it or email you it.
affordmylife, yes interesting, but as has been said previously many include things others don't in their budget, like alcohol, work meals, cleaning stuff, toiletries, animal feeds/care, eating out/takeaways, parking costs, fuel costs, gas/electricity even. So possibly more interesting that some also include much more in what they consider a grocery budget, for some it's more a 'what's left after the direct debits' challenge rather than just groceries..One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone
Read the boards daily but have only ever posted once. I love this community and the feel-good factor and sense of support it promotes between everyone. I'd like to join in please with the grocery challenge; myself, DH, DD (17), DD (9), 2 rabbits, a hamster and two goldfish! Get paid around 25th/26th, so aiming for approx £50 a week, even though it's a bit like old Mother Hubbard's at the moment!

Hi everyone, wow this thread has grown really fast!! Guess we're all making very positive new year resolutions
I want to try to set myself a GC for the year of £1800 - £2000. The theory behind this is that it's easy to go off the rails once I've 'failed' so I'm trying to give myself a bigger target as an incentive to keep to the smaller onesOr fail by less if you see what I mean.
I want to have a very lean January as a way of making this achievable so I'm going for £100 - £110. It will be tight given that it's a five week month but we have most of the essentials in so no need to do a big tesco shop. Hopefully it's mainly topping up with F&V (other resolution as always is to lose weight!).
Sorry I didn't get to read all the folks in the first two pages but our internet is being rubbish tonight and each page takes forever to load. Just to say good luck to all the new people and welcome back to the oldiesAnd as always thanks lil'me for keeping us all on track...
And happy new year to everyone
PS on the signature issue, it can really help if you keep your writing as small as possible, that way you can get more info in0 -
Hi, I'd like to join in please! I'm setting my initial budget as £150, see how we get on. Can anyone tell me, do I include pet food in this? Is it simply food or anything bought in the supermarket e.g. toiletries etc? And do vouchers/BOGOF etc come off the total? (at the moment they go into my PMS fund). Sorry, spot the newbie! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hallo Everyone
Could I join in too please.
I have checked my cupboards and they are fairly well stocked, except for laundry products.
I am going to aim for £50 this month for me and the cat. I get a free cooked lunch monday to friday and free fruit if I wish, so its just breakfasts, evenings and weekends to cater for. (It will kill me when my contract comes to an end , it probably wont be £50 then).
I also want to get back into cooking from scratch so this will definately help.
