Another call from DBCL, this time offering a settlement of £209. We're getting closer to zero!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

What is the deadline for you to receive VCS's WS? Do you have the same date to submit yours, or is theirs due first as has happened in some other cases?

    I've sent you a PM.

There is no mention of a witness statement, nor any deadlines. This is a notice of hearing with the location and the date, presumably more details to follow?

Normally there will be something telling both parties when they must submit evidence upon which they wish to rely, often on the back of the allocation notice. Usually this will be not later than two weeks before the hearing, but sometimes other dates are given.
I suggest you go back and re-read the allocation notice very carefully.

OK so the 14 day deadline was on the first Notice of Allocation that the local court sent earlier on.
