£2m, it has a lovely library room 😍
  • There's a property on the market under 5 miles from me for £65m.
If I had a spare few billion I *might* buy it.  Goodness knows how much it'd cost to upkeep.

    Do I win?

There’s an equestrian estate for £18m, that I wouldn’t want.

next is a beautiful house for 17m, that I would happily live in.

£10million here - a 14 bedroom grade 1 listed mansion set in 80 acres. Would I buy it? No - it’s seemingly been decorated by someone whose regular accessories include a Labrador and a white stick, it’s Grade 1 listed so you’d essentially need to apply for permission to even breathe in it, and it’s even closer to the airport flight path than we are here - and we get a fair bit of aircraft noise at times! (And don’t get me started on how much the stamp duty would be!)

£2.75m, 8 beds 8 baths Scottish baronial with 4 acres and a nice (indoor!) swimming pool. If I had a good number of 10s of millions I'd get an interior designer to fix some questionable carpet/wallpaper choices, install a lift, and invite some friends to retire there with us in due course.

£18m and no, i wouldn't buy it... a modern mansion that is not particularly garish, but just far far too big for me. If i was going to spend that kind of money, I would want a glamourous location and a sea view  :D

  • £1.4m.

Much better than the new build box for £1m a couple down the list.

£7,995,000 but many in the £3-4 000 000 range most of which I could possibly settle for as of course being able to afford the  house it naturally follows that you could afford both indoor an outoor staff to maintain them.

I can only go to £15M , but within 5 miles there are 47 properties for sale above £5M, so maybe I win the numbers game ( for outside London anyway) ?
