Couple of things ticked off already - paid for these on Amazon which automatically charges to my Sainsburys CC so I paid that straight away. Don't want to get caught in the trap of letting that build up again.

Ordered my Equidry lite and forgot I had some money in my PayPal account from selling a couple of things so instead of paying £159 I paid £92.75!

Now I know that is expensive but honestly they are so worth it when you're out for hours on end with the dogs in the rain.

This might be the most I've got done in a day ever tbh.

Now could the kitchen floors have been washed - yes. But I'm still gonna count that as done for the day.

Not long in from the last walk of the day so dinner is in the oven and time to chill out.

    Work out weekly lodge payments
So I booked this lodge for a week for me and the dogs months ago and the plan was to pay it up weekly. Now it's expensive but totally worth it - total booking was £660 and I paid £10 deposit - of course I haven't paid another penny so I need to pay this one by 7th September and balance outstanding is £650.

Thankfully I'm getting my bonus this month which will cover it.

Next booking is for January 2025, taking my mum to the same lodge for her 70th. Total booking was £465 and I paid £100 deposit. It needs to be paid in full by 13th December 2024. That's 20 weeks away so I need to pay £18.25 a week which is more than achievable I think! I'll round it up to £20 a week from Friday.

  • Living room is sparkling clean - floors all washed right in time for the dogs coming back from their walk with the dog walker! Lovely muddy paw prints all over the place but at least it's todays muddy paw prints.

Couple of washings done and hung up.

Also just realised that my ex transferred me £50 of the nearly £4k he owes me. Honestly shocked that I even got that but absolutely no way will he pay that all back.

Whatever - I'm gonna pay that £50 towards the the lodge for my mums 70th.
