Over xmas i decided to buy a shed , so after consideration i ordered a billy oh shed .. i knew the place didnt open till 02/01 so was not unduly worried till i found this website...after a nervous few days i got my confirmation e mail on the 2 jan and then lo and behold the shed turned up on the 3rd jan..i have just finished putting it all together and quite frankly i think its excellent.. it all fitted together perfectly and looks the part..
So after reading this forum i thought i would give my results in quite quick because there have been some serious mischief makers on here and i wanted to give an open and honest answer to how good or bad the service i got was.
It was so good i am contemplating getting a green house from them too.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WELL DONE KYBOTECH AND THANK YOU0 -
Which office do you work at for Kybotech?
I used to work there, I might know you!I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
AVOID THIS COMPANY. I bought a parasol from Kybotech/SimplyGardenFurniture last summer, and it fell over and snapped in two. Kybotech refuses to replace or refund, despite its claim the parasol "is constructed using a strong premium wooden pole with metal fixings which ensure maximum stability and durability”
Nowhere does it state, or does it imply, that this pole is incapable of withstanding the slightest lateral pressure or that it should on no account be allowed to fall over, and therefore always brought inside when not in active use. On the contrary, the description of the product suggests that it is entirely capable of withstanding the normal treatment and the normal weather conditions that are present in the UK – and more.
Terrible flimsy product and poor customer service, despite repeated attempts to get them to accept their clear responsibility for their clearly flawed or inadequate product.

I bought a very small shed from them to keep my logs dry. No problem with delivery but, compared with other sheds I have, it is very poor quality and I had to do a bit of DIY to make the bits fit. Worth spending a bit more, I think.Je suis sabot...0

I ordered a storage bench from them on Wednesday, with 24 hour delivery. I placed the order before I went to work around 8am to qualify for the next day elivery, and as I was in a hurry I didn't get a chance to note the order number which came up on screen. I have a chance to check that the email confirmation arrived either (it didn't), and my husband waited in all day for a product which never came. That was quite annoying, but the total lack of customer service in sorting this out is what has left me fuming
I called on Friday, and was told that they had no record of the order. I'd paid by PayPal, so was able to confirm the payment reference number, product order number and that the money had left my account. I was told that they would look into it and contact me, but that's the last I've heard from them. I emailed last night to point out that given their track record (i.e. they have messed up my order) an email to confirm in writing that they are looking into it would be appreciated, but this has been ignored. So I'm nearly £90 out of pocket, and they will not even confirm that they are looking into it, let alone give me an estimate of when they will resolve the issue! I really do not have time to deal with this level of incompetence - I accept that problems happen, but a company that then ignores the customer that they have failed and leaves them having to take time to try and get the issue investigated is probably not worth dealing with. This is actually the second time I've used them - the first was for a log cabin that we were pretty pleased with on the whole (though various items like the door latch were missing, I've been ill and have a very heavy workload so we've just left it even though it spoils the finish). I'd second the advice to avoid this company, if something goes wrong they cannot be relied on to fix it or even keep you informed.0 -
Still no word from Kybotech. In effect I've been mugged here - they've got my £90 but will not contact me to admit that they owe me my goods. I will contact consumer direct to try to get my money back from these muggers. Avoid at all costs.0

Not really mugged, you can just reclaim your money via paypal.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Thanks Grayme-m, I have launched a dispute with Paypal as well as reporting them to trading standards. "Mugged" is overstating it I know, but I'm working all hours with health problems and two small children so I really resent the way this company has taken my money and ignored me, leaving me to have to take steps to reclaim my money. Addd to that, my Husband wasted a day waiting in for a delivery which never came, and I don't have the bench I've saved up for in time for the Easter Holidays.0

Alas, it irks, but you won't get much recourse.
Just take away that it could have been worse, you may have got the item and people seem more upset when they do.
You'll get your money back and have helped keep this thread alive.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Oh dear. I have bought a BillyOh 5000 with all of the trimmings and as told delivery would be 29-05-2013 between 0600 and 1900 hours. So I stayed in all day, I called Kybotech twice during the course of the day to politely ask for some details/guidance for the delivery. I was informed by the member of staff that the driver details were 'unknown'. I have noticed that there have been a number of posts on here, that appear to be Kybotech bashing. I thought that there would be some elements of a company's customer base who would express some levels of dissatisfaction, and I will now join their ranks. I find it appalling that there is an expectation for a customer to wait in for 13 hours (self employed, so no work, no pay) and that there has not been one phone call from the driver or by Kybotech to explain that there is a delay??? I am about to snd an e-mail requesting a full refund, and to be completely honest I would find it extremely hard to consider purchasing from Kybotech in the future. I know that if I were to ever treat my customers in this fashion , I would be out of work very quickly!! I am giving this company until 8:30pm to deliver and then I will send my cancellation e-mail. I'll keep you posted!!!0
