@Worlds_Worst_Superhero seeing the balance go up definitely gets to be addictive, you're right xxWorlds_Worst_Superhero said:NSD 16 today (Thursday)
This no spending challenge is certainly paying off!
I just transferred some of the money I haven't spent this month into my Happy Fund, for holidays, trips away etc.
By most people's standards it probably wasn't a huge sum but to see the balance go up and up every month is exciting 🤩
oooh I know the struggle! I love bamboo needles but I replaced most of them with smooth wooden ones. For things like cotton, mohair and furry stuff I also had to give up and order metal ones (which I find very hard on my hands so I keep them for when it's strictly necessary). Hope you treated yourself to a good pair, while you were at it! My dad used to say, when it comes about tools, clothes and food: if you spend more the first time, you spend less in the long run, and I find it is very true especially for my knitting supplies!KajiKita said:Not today - ordered a metal circular knitting needle as my knitting is catching constantly on the bamboo ones …
