NSD for me today
Booked my car in the garage for July, which was the earliest I could get it in. The person who ran into me has already paid me for the work, so I have moved that into my savings, until it is needed.
I have made my meal plan and shopping list for the week ahead, taking into account food that needs to be eaten quickly. I have some bread flour that I got in a TGTG bag, so I have a recipe for some cinnamon buns, hoping to try them this weekend!

Not an NSD for me today. Had to get a slow leak in a car tyre fixed - luckily not too expensive. I paid for it out of my car sinking fund rather than having to put it on my credit card - feels good not having to go further into debt.MFW 2025 #45

@MrsCautious I would tend to count that but I view my car as a bit of an extravagance because I've got so many other options for getting around, it's 20 years old and I've really just kept it as long as I have because I'm fond of it! You would definitely be within the rules to regard an emergency car part as a necessity xxMrsCautious said:I’ve got to buy an emergency car part today. This is necessary spending isn’t it?With this in mind I’m going to say NSD number 7.1 -
@laurenh1 yay on the free bread flour, home-made cinnamon buns are delicious! xxlaurenh1 said:I have made my meal plan and shopping list for the week ahead, taking into account food that needs to be eaten quickly.
