After tea I washed up and then tidied the dining table which had reverted to its status as clutter magnet. I made supper, WUPA everything, gave night time eye meds and put out A's breakfast things. Have been a bit stressy today for some reason (just everything getting me down a bit I think) but hopefully I will be more zen tomorrow.Sleep well everyone.7

Have done a bit of paid stuff, been to Lidl, and done a few odd bits of flying. Just had an unexpected visit from DS1 which was nice, blimey is that lad skinny though. He needs a blood test and MRI scan but doesn't want either in case something shows up.CofG glad the dentist went well. I like your suggestion for dealing with worries and you are right about trying to let the worries go. I have downloaded an app recommended by Mind so will see how that goes.
No paid stuff for 3 days and some nice plans, cycling with some old friends tomorrow morning which I am a tiny bit nervous about but it will be fine! x
When you get with your friends your worries will evaporate in no time - trust me. Have a lovely, stress-free weekend away from work and worries doing fun things.8 -
Morning all. It's the weekend!
I have lots of sporty things going on this weekend and villagey things but we are meeting up with family on Monday.
Stretches and a bath then dog walk. I'm not sure very much flying will be achieved.
Have a great weekend everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Good morning my lovelies xx
It is Saturday today, isn't it? Really, truly? Only I woke up yesterday convinced it was Saturday, alarm went off - silly me set it by accident obvs - opened my phone to turn off the alarm and it said it was FRIDAY!!!! Nooooooo. Nope. Nopity. Nope. But yes. Blummin Friday. And traffic was a nightmare both going to and coming from TT. Been caught up in snarl ups following accidents three times this week. Hope everyone involved is OK 🙏
Anyhoo. I'm up. It's Saturday. I think 🤔. I've made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper and I'm supping my first brew.
YL - waggy finger has asked his neighbour to say well done on taking time out...👍
Fayolle - Guten Morgen. Wie geht's heute? 😘
I've completed Wordle and failed miserably at Connections this morning. One line correct. One poxy line. Synapses not snapping this morning. Maybe another brew will help? It's worth a try.

Oh yes, and May the Fourth be with you.
Stretches done, admin updated (I have withdrawn all my personal spend money for this month in cash to stop me being tempted by stupid stuff on line - will see how it goes), just having breakfast, croissants with strawberry jam no less.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Snap Round…one connections group here, too…’enjoy’.
Must have slept awkwardly as my knees really ached but it’s settled now i’ve moved a bit. Not sure what today will bring, though i have washing to peg out.

Brew 2 supped and breakfast eaten.
I've also got dressed, sploshed bleach down the loo, put out the rubbish and recycling, put new bin bags in the bins, fed the birds, sorted the laundry into loads, set the first load swishing, and taken the laundry hamper back upstairs.

Good morning, bore da. And it's already the weekend! I have been up and drinking tea since 5.00, and I finished another book before breakfast. It sometimes annoys me that I wake up with the sun (not that it was been visible earlier this morning), but I do enjoy the slow start to my day. And I managed to do the last of the sorting and filing of papers yesterday evening, so when I eventually left my bed and came into the study bedroom to turn on the computer, everything was neat and tidy
I managed Wordle in 5 (below my average) and Connections with one life remaining. Round, you and I must have brains that think differently but complement each other, as it frequently happens that I can only see one or two connections on the days when you find them easy, and vice versa.
I have loaded and started the DW, and emptied the cutlery and saucepan drawers before wiping them out thoroughly.
The rest of today's list is
- shopping on second thoughts, I'll do it tomorrow, on my way home from church, and save on petrol: we still have enough bits left in the FF to eat well enough today.
- cook and bake
- WMx however many loads DH gives me, plus one
- a bit of gardening
- make a couple of phonecalls
- walk Rosie
- hunt out some reasonably priced buildings and contents insurance
- encourage DH to check whether his bank account with the Nation (for which he pays a monthly fee) still entitles him to travel insurance. He was complaining that last time he used it, he had so many illnesses to report that it cost him £300 extra. That might be cheap compared to what he could be expected to pay now - and as for me... well, we'll see.
That's quite enough for one day.
Hope you all get some sunshine and enjoy whatever today brings xxx7 -
First load is having an extra spin. I'm having a coffee.
Just had a long chat with Jehovah's Witnesses at the front door. Bit nippy to be stood there but I enjoy an interesting debate based on the Bible and I have few opportunities to do so. I answered the door with my Bible in my hand....😊
