Did yoga & Norwegian before breakfast.
A carp day at work, though I was given some lemon drizzle came for repairing a coat for someone a few weeks back. Had a ligh with one of my work besties at lunchtime, which helped ease my stress.
Walked up to the nearby secondary school to collect DS3's course choices letter, but the office staff had left!
Drove home, then read a few chapters of my book. DS2 was upstairs, think DH in the greenhouse, DS1 off wild camping somewhere & DS3 at his GF'S, so the house was very quiet 😃
Watched the last episode of the series with DH whilst eating tea, then got the last 3 sewing repairs done for a customer, so one bag out the house. Finished my book 😃
Grateful for surprise cake, laughs with work bestie, listening to the rain on the windows (only started @8pm)Use it up, wear it out

Sit With It.
Instead of drinking it away, smoking it away, sleeping it away,
eating it away or running away from it. Just sit with it.

Today I am grateful for Pip sitting his last exam of this half term, for a lovely walk to meet a friend for lunch, for a good natter with said friend, for 45 mins of weeding in the front initially not looking very impressive but then a few hours later it somehow looked much improved (and I can categorically state that DH did not sneak out and do some stealth weeding 🤣), for a chat with a neighbour while I was weeding.

Any volunteers to set up June?

@lcc86 well done! And definitely, definitely negotiate! Moving is an upheaval, and they are getting someone experienced in a comparable role rather than stepping up into a new to them role, it's really worth suggesting that you need to start midway or higher up the salary band.7

I am around throughout June and can volunteer @apple_muncher, probably can't set it up before Tuesday morning tho x5

Thanks @Starlight_at_Sea 😃
A good day at work today. The new head teacher is starting having teaparties on Fridays with 4 pupils. Tomorrow is the first one & my pupil was chosen from the nominations, they are so chuffed! Had a group of boys 'pampering' me today, they had great fun being let loose with the wigs & rollers!
Dropped sewing off before I came home, the lady said the cafe where I used to work, hasn't been the same since I left, standards have dropped. I'll take it as a compliment 😊
Unpicked & added in an extra 8" of material to the bodice of a Oktoberfest serving wench's dress for a customer attending a hen party. Nice to have a variety of jobs!
Grateful for my pupil being chosen, the dress turning out well, one of the tadpoles in class turning into a froglet & halfway up the side of the tank (will bring them back to our pond at home, tomorrow)Use it up, wear it out

Thanks @Starlight_at_Sea, I will definitely try, after all if you don't ask you don't get! I will still accept regardless as there are other positives to the job (wouldn't have gone for it otherwise!) And I very much need a change of scenery.
Haven't posted for a few days but overall nothing major to report. After my successful S75 claim my debt has reduced, BUT we also had an emergency trip to the vet, paid half on credit card and half debit. One step forward two steps back and all that. But overall I'm on the right trajectory.
Am on call tonight so it'll be a quiet one (like every night lol). OH has booked a spa day tomorrow as a birthday present which I am very much looking forward to!7 -
Thank you Starlight.Today I am grateful for my gym sesh, for not spending any money, for wildflowers, for Pip enjoying seeing a friend, for no rain and just about enough warmth to dry most of 2 laundry loads outside.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5
