A line of tact to use here would be useful. Im thinking, and I'm no betting person, that those words wont rescind the PCN.

It is unjustified 'PPC-speak' and the landowner should be embarrassed to repeat such template rubbish fed to them by the operator.
It is ALWAYS the same tired spiel:

"A spokesperson for Tesco said: “We have put in place new parking time limits at our Chepstow superstore. "This will allow us to better manage the car parking spaces for our customers and deter anti-social behaviour in the car park outside of store opening hours.”"antisocial driving in the Blackpole retail parks {is claimed to be} the reason the restrictions have been introduced by retail park managers."

"The new parking restrictions operate between midnight and 5am Monday to Friday; 11pm to 5am Saturday in to Sunday; and 5pm to 5am Sunday in to Monday - although there should be a 45-minute parking period. It comes in a bid to stop boy racers..."
No idea how retail parks think ANPR will stop 'boy racers' given (if they really are a problem) they'd probably be the sort of chancers to cover their numberplates. Which I'm not condoning but they'd know it means they could stay all evening.
ANPR doesn't solve anything.
Security or Police enforcement is the way to address a REAL anti-social behaviour issue, if it exists. Or simply overnight barriers and speed bumps.
Anyway we have even more stories like that in the 'Parking Stories in the news/media' thread ... and we smell a rat. 'PPC-speak' used to scaremonger and persuade landowners to let them loose on their patrons with ANPR.
Works well for them. Idiot landowners swallow it hook, line and sinker.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

One reason I have been using a Martin Lewis approved Chase card for the last couple of years, proof of payment, cashback too , statements, ( yes I do use cash when it's a small amount and there would never be a need for proof or it's cash only )
But for shopping, petrol, PayPal, milk delivery bill , dental practice payments, mobile phone contract payment, till payments etc , Chase almost all the time ( but other cards are available, Halifax, NatWest, First Direct etc. )
I strongly suggest that you change future behaviour to include a valid paper trail. !3 -

I am glad that they should be embarressed. Then it appears I have exhausted this from them cancelling it?
