i am lying in bed in my hotel room. i have aching legs, as does D in the next room, we have walked so much. so we have gone to our rooms to put our aching feet up and relax. Across from the hotel is a delightful spanish shop and restaurant and we’ve had our evening meal there. There’s nothing on tv worth watching so i’m either going to read or watch something on i pkayerDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello,
A late one from me. Thank you for the lists x
I had my day off today instead of tomorrow, as DD had a hospital appointment. We can breathe again until June. Whilst waiting to leave, I did clean the bathroom and dust everywhere as a distraction. Hopefully tonight will not now be spent in the WAC, lovely as you all are for company.
The downside is that I have to go to work for the rest of the week, which will be a struggle.
Towels were washed this morning, and I have played washing hokey cokey this afternoon, rescuing them from the rain, then pegging them out in a howling gale. They did dry though.
I’ve been batch cooking for DD, just waiting for her to ravage my store cupboard before she goes back to uni tomorrow ☹️
Hope the injuries are calming down, Round. Honestly, I take my eye off you for 5 minutes…😘7 -

Good morning my lovelies xx
I was dreaming about my Geography teacher. I didn't want it to end. But I was really conscious that I hadn't shaved my legs 😅.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch (rice cakes not oat cakes), eaten breakfast and supped my brew.
Blue tits are already busy at the nest box. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I trudge off to the paid stuff.
I feel less bothered about going today when I have to go, than I did yesterday when I didn't have to go 🤔 Not that I'm looking forward to it, just a grudging acceptance that I have to go. Bills to pay and all that. 🙄
I have half a panty liner in my bag just in case 🤣. Still a bit tender behind my ear and on the bridge of my nose.
Better get my ID on and find my shoes I spose. Can you feel the enthusiasm? 😉
Have a good day.
Rxx

Morning everyone, well I've been up since 6.30am and have done absolutely nothing except declutter two cups of tea..my excuse is I have a snuggly puppy and I really don't want to disturb him while he's asleep.. he's a little s0d when he's awake so we grab any quiet time with both hands...lol
Round I have these weird visions of you with panty liners on your nose and behind your ears... And what a weird dream..your old teacher and your not shaved legs. I dread to think what that means....lol
Valli hope you have recovered from yesterday's excursion and had a lovely evening meal.
Couldn't decide whether to put the towels, washed earlier, outside on the the line but after looking at the clouds they are now on the heated airer in the kitchen. It better not be a scorcher today otherwise I'll not be too happy..lol
I'm off to a cuppa at the local craft centre with a friend later this morning then unfortunately decluttering some money in M&S...lol
Best get showered then take pup for a walk..

Hope you have a peaceful day, round x
Rain earlier, but now a beautiful blue sky. I have washing to do (and hopefully hang out), emails to send, Rosie to walk, and eye drops to collect from the pharmacy. Oh, and sadly I'm going to have to take down my Easter egg tree - I think there are some little caterpillars hiding among the hazel leaves as they've become rather holey (or should that be holy?)5 -

I'm home!
My glasses were aggravating my nose and ear, and I ended up with a banging headache which parrots haven't touched. So I threw in the towel....
Glasses are off. Scruffs are on. Heating is on.

Hello all. Thanks for the list Natty.
Hope your headache is easing Round, and pleased that your eye op went ok Iona.
I haven't done much flying apart from dailies really. Two reasons. 1 . My back hurts. 2. I was reading a really good book and then needed the sequel. They are both read now around grand children so I have actually sorted through my wardrobe today.
I have thrown some clothes out, put others to sell and some for CS. All my clothes are now just on one rail, summer and winter. Oh and the Christmas presents I couldn't find four months ago turned up on the top shelf at the back.Spend less now, work less later.7
