Hi Mupeteer, I'm so pleased for you, both for getting back with OH (fingers crossed that it all goes ok), and that he's taking the antidepressants -it's an excellent start.

Sounds like his sister has some serious issues and is jealous that her brother has you. Well worth avoiding at all costs. x

I'm obviously not the only muppet living in this house. BF is refusing to take the antidepressants he was prescribed. His mum works in Holland & Barrett so he's getting her to suggest something herbal. Why is he being such an idiot? I'm not saying that the herbal stuff wont work but he's being so stubborn. I'm almost certain that it's that he thinks he'd be ssaying he was a failure or weak by taking them. That attitude annoys me so much, especially as he knows I've been on and off them for over 10 years now.

Also, he doesn't want to take any time off work. He went to speak to his boss today and he has suggested he takes a few days self cert to see how he is doing. I know that wont be enough though.

Right now he is away shopping with his sister and his mum. I know it's silly but I feel really left out. I'm really not sure if this is going to work.

That's probably one of the reasons why he isn't going to take them.

You can't save him from himself. All you can do is decide whether you want to pick up the pieces afterwards, and what price you're willing to pay in order to do that.

All you can do is give it your best shot. But that has to be a plural *you*. If he isn't going to try, then it won't.

    Have you done another SOA?

Sorry ZTD, not yet. I've been putting it off but I know I need to do it. I can't rely on BF staying so I'll get onto it soon. I promise!

I'm feeling lots better, thanks. BF and I have been having a good time since he came back and we are really talking which is more than we've done for a while. I am still annoyed at his sister but not everyone can be as lovely as all of us DFWs!:D If karma is real she's in for a pretty rough ride.

I've spent quite a bit of time with my sister lately too and I realised we hadn't seen much of each other, what with me having school practice and running around after Miss Stroppy Drawers since before Christmas. It's been great seeing more of my sister and her kids so I'm going to make time for that in the future.

I'm not really sure if BF and I will last but I'm going to give it my best shot, and if it all goes belly up I know I will survive. I've been through bad times before and made it out the other side and I'm sure I'll do it again if I have to.

I have the same problem with my hubby and anti-depressants.

Seriously considering crushing them into his cornflakes! :o

Why would I want to make it more fun for him? ;)
