I've been struck by the uglies. Yes, the stress of the past few weeks has been waiting in a dark corner until the time when I least expected it (yesterday lunchtime) and then it jumped me. It has taken the form of two gigantic, hideous and sore cold sores.Ugly ugly ugly!!! I will be in hiding for a few days now.

Don't be silly! You can still get up to everything you normally get up to with the aid of modern technology...

I went shopping in Edinburgh with my sister today. I thought I was doing really well but I've just totalled up my spends: £60:eek: . It's the first spending bender I've been on for a while but I'm feeling a bit disappointed with myself. Most of it was stuff I actually needed but not all of it.

    I must do better.

Better save my cash the rest of the week.:o

Hey, you've had an emotional rollercoaster of a week, it's only £60 not £600, and you did need some of it, so I think you can give yourself a little slack;)

  • I've still got the uglies (3 of them came up over the weekend  ) so it looks like I need to go to uni with a bag over my head. I really look (and feel) quite horrific. It's just as well it's uni and not teaching practice this week.

I've got to go and put some petrol in the car so that's more money. I also need to buy a book for uni today but at least it's a kids book rather than a text book.

BF is away to take the witch out. He spent all day with her yesterday so it's just as well I was out or else I'm sure I would have been sat at home with steam coming out of my ears:rolleyes: . The way Italk about her makes her sound like 'the other woman' but I guess that is kind of how it feels.

I've had a good afternoon at uni. Came home and BF is in a strange (and not particularly good) mood. One minute he seems fine, the next he' being sarcastic or short with me. He spent most of today with his sister again.

Who knows, maybe it's just me being paranoid?
