    Afternoon all.

This morning I cleaned the kitchen and bleached the sink and washing-up pad, emptied the bin and took a bag of rubbish down. I then went out and took a jacket with one very loose and one slightly loose button, and a shirt with a broken button, to a place that does repairs and alterations to have the buttons re-attached/replaced. I then went to a food shop to see if they had something for the birthday cake I'm making for Sunday and bought a few other bits. I went to the mid day service and then came home and prepared lunch.

I took delivery of a new small kitchen grinder as I want to try making walnut marzipan (part of my cunning plan for the birthday cake) and you can't buy ground walnuts as far as I'm aware. I thought I had a grinder already but couldn't find it when I looked. After lunch we went to a local park and they had an art exhibition on, which was nice, and an amazing bed of tulips. On the way back I took A to see a road that has lots of lovely mature white flowering cherry trees all the way down, which are in full bloom and look fantastic.  When we got back I made tea/coffee and am now about to wash up and put on a load of washing.
