    Issues happen, I was able to withdraw 2 days ago despite the warning message in the app and it arrived an hour later.

    Just got an email off them confirming the issue is resolved, might have been better to have got one when the issue was identified! It seems everyone affected is getting the £25.00...
    What do you mean, "affected"? Just those who complained?

    Seems like Tandem can't handle things, surely if that's the case you should be free to get your money back/out, compo etc.

    So glad I only have £1 in there & stopped actively using them a long time ago

    My Sunday payment arrived in my bank this afternoon & they sent me 2 x £25 payments

    We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with your Tandem account over the weekend. Unfortunately, a small amount of customers were affected by an isolated issue which doesn’t reflect Tandem’s usual high level of customer service.

    We can confirm it is fully resolved and all payment requests have now been completed. 

    As a gesture of goodwill, a £25 payment will be made into your external bank account by close of business tomorrow (Wed 10th April 2024).




    I don’t think this email is specific to me complaining as I got another email about that yesterday
  • Issues happen, I was able to withdraw 2 days ago despite the warning message in the app and it arrived an hour later. 
    I mean it’s likely to impact your sentiment more if the issue actually affects you. Their comms was very average throughout the process tbh.

    I’ve received my £25 now.

    Just had a pro-forma email from them regarding my complaint and setting out rights to go to the ombudsman etc - nearly put it in spam as it shows as coming from the 'Motor Finance Team'.

    Doesn't exactly inspire confidence ......
