After seeing all the negative posts today on delayed withdrawals was a little concerned about the speed my monthly withdrawal of interest ( £500 ) would be handled today. Executed the transfer around 12.30pm and now arrived in my Lloyds account.

However notwithstanding this quick turnaround in my case, will decide during the course of this week whether to retain funds with them. Charter Savings Bank may well be the beneficiary of such a move. Will be monitoring this thread for further customer experiences.

Thanks to others in this forum reporting about the £25 - just did chat with them and was also offered it.

I am tempted to chat back and ask where my £25 is!

Thanks to the poster who said they were glad I received my funds

I'm hoping to fund two ISAs and have been waiting since Sunday.
Edit: Have just received payment as I type.

It takes a lot longer to withdraw from Charter

Just spoke to them, £25.00 has been added to my "account" and will be send to my "linked account" in 24h. No budging on the fixed savers, they have me contractually there. The agent pushed on to close my instant access but I decided to keep it and just withdraw the funds, its the only place you can see the bank details you hold on record (they do not show anywhere if you just have fixed accounts)
  • Just got an email off them confirming the issue is resolved, might have been better to have got one when the issue was identified! It seems everyone affected is getting the £25.00...

Sadly the £25 doesn't make up for the confidence lost in them.

Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted comes to mind!

I haven’t lost confidence in them and I didn’t expect anything, so getting £25 is very nice 👍
