20K to be put into cash ISA mid May

Hello,

I've got 20K in a fixed rate bond which matures mid May & I want to put into a new cash ISA for 24/25 (for tax reasons)

I also want to transfer a 2.5K cash ISA from Gatehouse into it to (from a previous tax year)

Should I just open an easy access one now or a 1 year fix around the middle of this month, that allows 30 days to keep funding it?

Cheers

If you can get a fixed rate that lines up with the dates that would most likely give you a better rate?  Can you be sure your maturing bond will make the funds available in a timely manner?

Yeah, it matures with Atom on 11th & they're pretty good at transferring pretty much immediately...
