I'm afraid you must have missed a previous from me (or I didn't hit the post button???) but I had lost 5 lbs after returning from my holiday so only 7 now to get to my goal...Admittedly the lost 5 was a bit of a miracle in my opinion but not one to be ignored!!!!
(don't know how you keep up with us all frankly - you do a great job!!!)2 -

Came home and went back to simple breakfast, simple dinner, no snacks. So chunky cruise 5 lb weight on over 2 weeks and then dropped off almost immediately - like as if it was water weight or something. Frankly I was rather shocked at how quickly it went. But it was like quick on, quick off. Now I'm back to the normal struggle but OH is suggesting dinners without carbs more which is a great help.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hi @Brambling and everyone.Reporting a STS this week. I am fine with that.Generally my new approach did its job this week. I had a weekend that went totally off the rails. I ate a double my calories on Sunday. I’d like to say it was because I went out for a beautiful gourmet meal or some other amazing experience. But no - just sitting at home. The usual suspects for me - crisps, chocolate etc.
However, what was different this time was what I did next. Instead of slipping into my usual “what’s the point” mindset and continuing to make poor choices in the following week, I sat down on Sunday evening and worked out the calories I had left out of my weekly total and make a complete plan for the week and stuck to it.So very pleased - it represents something really important to me - control. If I could identify one pattern of behaviour that has led to me being very very overweight, it is mindless eating/instant gratification- that which is offered by chocolate, sweets ,crisps etc. So to have demonstrated to myself that I can move forward and be intentional is huge for me.Early days but I’m hopeful.Well done to everyone on their losses. And if you didn’t , keep on going. I’m as pleased with this week as I was with my big first week loss because of what it represents and sometimes that small gain or sts is an achievement in itself.Hope you all have a good week

Pleased to say I've lost exactly a kilo, so 2.2lbs.
Walked loads, ate better (especially over the weekend) and generally tried to cut out the unnecessary stuff like crisps.
Hope everybody has a good week.
