The only part I added isCoupon-mad said:I thought you said the Claimant was Excel?
Please ONLY show us the parts you have added. We don't want to see the template please. Makes it hard to see which is your bit.On the morning of 12th of October 2023 at about 9.30am the defendant was attending antenatal appointment at Wythenshawe Hospital and was running a little late. The Defendant couldn’t get a parking within hospital premises so drove up the road and saw Floats Road Car Park. The Defendant drove into the Car Park and bought a parking ticket from the machine for up to 4 hours which was £2.50. As the Defendant entered the premises it stated Pay and Display so bought the ticket and displayed ticket on the dashboard of the vehicle.
The Claimant has stated that the Defendant breached the terms and conditions; namely parked without purchasing a valid Pay and Display ticket however failed to prove or provide evidence of the car parked with no ticket displayed.

Its Excel parking on the car park sign but when they sent the letter it was initially Excel then I noticed it changed to VCS1505grandad said:Who is the contract for parking with - i.e. which name appears on the care park signs - VCS or Excel?0 -
It initially was Excel when the initial letters came but noticed the clamping name on the county court claim and letter of claim been VCSJoeN1988 said:Yes, if the NTK was from Excel then why is the Claim from VCS?!
Also, a Defence is written in the third person. Instead of writing "I did this or that", refer to yourself as the Defendant.

I have also edited and changed I to defendant

The last picture you have shown us confirms the identity crisis that Vehicle Control Services Ltd and Excel Parking Services Ltd have.
Look at the very last line on that Floats Road sign - the line in the white band at the very bottom of that sign.
They hedge their bets by quoting company names, company numbers and vat details for both companies.
How is a driver to know with any certainty which company, if any, they are deemed to have agreed a contract with?
And in this part of that sign......alongside the first graphic they mention that Vehicle Control Services Ltd will request keeper's details from the DVLA.
...beside the third graphic they discuss the limited liability of Excel Parking Services Ltd.
...and in the last sentence on that part of the sign we are told that Parking enforcement is undertaken by Vehicle Control Services Ltd (The Creditor).
What a mess.1 -
Yea I just read that and noticed it mentioned VCS and Excel in the top right cornerKeithP said:The last picture you have shown us confirms the identity crisis that Vehicle Control Services Ltd and Excel Parking Services Ltd have.

Do you think it will help to mention this in my defence statement ?0 -
Please show the NTK that you say was from Excel?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm nowhere near an expert, but how can VCS make a claim for an alleged event that took place on a property managed by a different (albeit incestuously related) company?
Is that surely not grounds for striking out the claim?1 -
There may also a GDPR consideration.
Can data retrieved from the DVLA by one company be passed to another company?

Sure will post it shortlyCoupon-mad said:Please show the NTK that you say was from Excel?0
