@Tiggermad, that’s awesome, losing 10Kg 😊🤩👏 Well done.I hear you on the siren call of things such as crisps and chocolate 😉
Have you seen the glucose revolution book? I’ve been following her principles for a couple of weeks and my cravings are definitely less. She said they would be but I was fairly sceptical 😉 Might be worth a try? 😊

Happy Evening all,Wow everyone is doing so well. I seem to have fallen off the band waggon and need to regroup. Its still quite icy / frosty and so haven't made it out for a run yet. I confess I did find a big bag of Christmas chocolate which is now gone (was naughty but nice!) and tonight had a bit more other chocolate sorry!!Having brunch at 11 is working well though and have discovered a new food love. Boiled egg on toast with houmous instead of butter, topped with spring onion. Yummy!Keep going all!!2026 financial goals & challenges!

Exercise consistency going well here, running slowly twice a week and gym on 3 days. I can feel my strength improving, however eating not great. Still too many Xmas treats about and I just can't say no. I have hidden some in the garage and some in a relatives house, but sometimes I just have to find something. Similar to DFW I keep forgetting to weigh, but will do next week. Good lunch everyone. Well done on loss @Tiggermad, amazing achievement!Mortgage start date Nov 2014 - £90,545 over 25 years

I had a bit of a moment last night and ate a bag of crisps and then robbed some of Mr KK’s as well … 🙄😂debtfreewannabe321 said:@Queen_of_the_Hive I have totally FAILED these last 24 hours. But that was yesterday and today is today. About to start again with a yoga session to set my day off right 😊

Haven't had a bad day but it could definately have been better food wise. Work has put me in a glum mood. Long story short, have returned to part time hours (and pay) but still have the workload of full time and am now doing extra over my unworking days to catch up. Its not right and need to speak to boss but boss's father just passed away so its not so easy atm as boss has been on compassionate leave during quite a lot of Dec and Jan
. Not happy and its not helping my diet. Thinking I might just pause the diet until 26th Jan when the work storm will be the other side. On the positive, weight is holding steady at 10% loss. I did try a 'high protein' salmon risotto from one of the supermarkets. It was in the frozen section and was very nice. Added to it the juice of 1 lemon and it was gorgeous. Need to find some more high protein recipes. So if there are any recommendations of go to meals, please share

Well done for keeping your weight loss steady @Queen_of_the_Hive 😊👏 Always difficult when there is stress in your life.
I have been trying pairing things like halloumi, mushrooms and cooked tomatoes. Scrambled eggs, tomatoes (again 😉) with a kidney bean and cous cous side salad. I have been focusing on high fibre and protein and seeing where it takes me.KKAs at 21.05.26:

Thank you

I'll do some research Kajikita, into the glucose revolution. Anything that helps with the cravings has to be a good thing!
That doesn't sound good Queen_of_the_Hive, hope you manage to speak to your boss.2 -
This week has been up and down diet wise for me. But I'm noticing for every bad day/ moment I have I don't immediately think, ah well I may as well just continue with naughty foods ...I get straight back on healthy eating. I've made it to the gym three times this last week. Nothing over the weekend but instead we went for a super long walk around a country park (3 or 4 miles in all) my foot is feeling much better and recovering well from injury but when I do too much it does play up for a day or so after meaning exercise doesn't get done.
Not weighed myself - I keep forgetting but also I think I want to keep forgetting as I don't feel any smaller yet 🤣🙄🤣.Emergency Fund goal - £1000/2000

That made me laugh. I should adopt this

Last week was a right off- 2 meals out, a takeaway, early mornings and long days meant i just wasn't in the right headspace. However I went swimming today for the first time in nearly 3 weeks. I really want to get back to where I was before Christmas so need to focus.
With that in mind I've meal planned for 2 weeks and we'll see what happens next
