That's strange, because birminghamciv@justice.gov.uk doesn't appear at all in the list of email addresses on www.find-court-tribunal.service.gov.uk/courts/birmingham-civil-and-family-justice-centre.

Have you found another good reason to avoid ChatGPT, I wonder?

Hi guys, 

I've got my hearing tomorrow so feeling a bit nervous. Do I need to memorise my witness statement? Is there anything else I need to be prepared for ?

You need to be prepared for the claimant or their representative to state they did not receive your witness statement,  so take a spare copy. You should also be prepared for them to want to talk to you in a side room - NO! You don't need to memorise your WS but you should know your way around it and be able to take the judge to important/salient points if you get the chance or are asked. Arrive early to go through security checks.

Read the post by @Johnersh yesterday or the day before where he explained what happens at a hearing and in which order everyone speaks.

Get there early if it's in-person, to get through court security & sign in with the usher.

DO NOT AGREE TO CHAT WITH THEIR REP IN A SIDE ROOM BEFOREHAND. Say "no".
