morning all
Nothing wrong just so busy yesterday, i was on a course. I stayed for the free lunch but didn’t enrol on the afternoon session…I figured my brain would be overloaded. After the course, as I was parked near the town i went to the haberdashery at the other side of town to buy buttons (supporting independent traders and all that). So so pleased to have done that when, a year ago, i darent walk anywhere on my own in case i ran out of steam.
I have my new tablets so starting them this am.

Me again. I am overachieving on my NO plan day!
I have cleaned the rubber mat that the dogs bowl sits on, WUDUPA, scrubbed kitchen sink, prepared some yogurt, sorted out a pile of books for CS, changed bedding, first of two wash loads is whirring and I've put rubbish and recycling out.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Coffee break time.
Bathroom and downstairs toilet cleaned. Mattress vacuumed, waiting for DH to return to turn the ridiculously heavy mattress that loves to pin me against the wall. Upstairs dusted and vacuumed. Stairs and kitchen also vacuumed whilst I had the vacuum cleaner in hand and no reasonable excuse or alibi to put forward. I have French radio blaring while DH is out - working on language improvement by osmosis, not a particularly well known successful method when you are wandering flying frantically about the house, but there we go.
Next jobs - update calendar, make eye test appointment, download bank statement. I also need to frog back a couple of rows on my sock knitting as I seem to have messed up the pattern just 5 rows in. Maybe doing that and concentrating on Hinterland at the same time wasn’t my best plan.
Kettle is on, there are some uninteresting biscuits in the jar, but I have some better ones hidden from DH’s nosey nose 🤫. Help yourselves x7 -
Note to self. Stop sick reading!! I thought your OH was taking money saving to the extreme, @ionafan, as he had removed the lens in your eye!!! Re-read it now. Hope your better soon.
DW has been done, by DS-I-L. No needs doing again. Probably needs some bits putting back in and filling properly! I don't complain to him though, don't want to discourage him. Made two coconut cakes. I'll pop them in the tin, help yourselves. Found more seeds out, will go and put them in shortly. Planted lots of bean seeds yesterday. Peas are growing well. Herbs starting to pop up now too. Haven't seen rabbit holes in there since we put a real in!
Might leave the washing till tomorrow, hopefully it will be a bit less rainy then. Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.8 -

I'm back on the medication but a lower dose (the one that makes me 'unwell' having had it stopped due to unsatisafactory bloods) and feeling bleurgh...taken an anti-nausea tablet and now have a headache so I'm thinking an afternoon on the sofa with knitting might be nice...
WUALTD after breakfast. That might be it, though I have liberated 2 more items from the shed freezer, soup for lunch if I can face it and YS grillsteaks for tea. I think I have enough room to bring the stuff back from the freezer at work, now.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

2.5 hours we were at hospital.. I am tired and was starving!!!
Her coeliac bloods were much lower but not yet in normal range. Her thyroid bloods are ok. He was going to discharge her until I said she would like to ask a question. She told him her sternum is hurting.. so we had a barrage of bloods again and chest xrays and now has likely got Pectus excavatum which may in the future require surgery..
We took her school .. she ate lunch on the way and finished it off once at school.. I had a form waiting for me to sign so I did that..
I got home I made lunch and had just sat down when Squeaks school rang saying they had emailed a form they needed filling out and returning asap for the outreach worker to write a report which we will send to the EHC caseworker... seriously.. I never get 2 minutes peace!
I did want to take my mother her mothers day present round but I may have to do that later because I am tired!
The DW was loaded by DIL.. and I have done nothing.
