๐๐ I think it's very satisfying! I'd far rather be cleaning out someone else's cupboards, I think ๐
Zoning out a bit this evening ๐ฌ Didnt quite get enough sleep last night, and it's been a long day with an early start and another long day tomorrow, so I might aim to be in bed by 10, if not before.
In the meantime, I'm going to put on a podcast and tackle another bathroom drawer ๐ฑ Wish me luck! ๐ฑ๐

Oh Cheery - I may need a little lie down after that list! - are you going to have a little purge? - I'm thinking anything mouldy can go?
4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)Original End Date - Sept 2041 New projection - Sep 2038 (reduced by 3 years)3 -
Ha, yes don't worry, I'm not just listing stuff then putting it ALL back ๐ฑ๐ even I'm not that bad ๐๐ part of the reason for listing is to horrify me into getting rid of most of it ๐
Yes, mouldy vit c tablets have gone ๐ Travel sized things have been packed up in a clear bag, along with washbags. Nail varnishes purged and the remaining ones put in a container. Hairbrush thoroughly scrubbed using 2 of the old toothbrushes (which have now gone in the bin). Ancient makeup, crappy herbal patches, loose dental harps etc all gone in the bin. Lipsticks held together with a hair bobble and ONE put in top drawer for use until gone (top drawer does also need a sort out as I suspect there are probably another 2 lipsticks in there but that's a job for another day).
Sock in the wash, unworking pen in the bin (actually 2 pens ๐). Hair removal items (non-electrical) dispatched to the hair removal drawer (and yes, that will need a sort out but again, not today ๐)
Anyway, things are looking much better and I am feeling very satisfied ๐
Now eyeing up the bottom drawerโฆgoodness knows what's in there. Bedsocks and more washbags for a start. But NOT TONIGHT! ๐

Just a note that foodbanks also give out hygiene items so if you've got any unopened toiletries that you're looking at and thinking "will I really use this?" then pop it in a collection basket next time you're in town, saves it sitting in a drawer or from the bin.

Excellent reminder, thank you! Not chucked anything like that yet but that may give me an incentive to pass on stuff that I might have kept because it's too good to chuck

Ok, I have to know. Do you know where the pink socks partner is?!
I've been mortgage free once, so let's do it again!

Ha, probably in the odd sock basket upstairs! ๐ This one's on the line now.
Glorious weather! I've got one wash on the line, and I've put on what is possibly my first ever 90 degree wash ๐ฑ๐ Hoping it will both brightenen up a few dingy white/grey things, and give the washing machine a good clean. We'll see.
Last night I cleaned out another two basket drawers in the bathroom. It was late but I felt an itch to keep the chain going... These were just 2 small drawers with sanitary items in, but I've still thrown away a couple of empty packets and reorganised things so everything is nice and neat.
One big drawer left, and six small ones... ๐ฌ

Glorious day today! ๐ As I was working at home woth no meetings, I got 3 loads of washing done and out on the line ๐ Unfortunately I sneaked off to meet Mr C for a coffee at 5pm and didn't bring it in first, so by the time I got back it was all a bit cold... Having a quick radiator dance now and should all be fine tonight.
Signed the LPG contract - 4p a litre increase on our last one, but fixed price for 2 years which is always good. Waited til we'd had today's delivery (charged at the old price) so likely won't need any time about October now anyway.
And now on to tackle the second big bathroom drawer! ๐ Stuffed full, but with some bigger things, so not such a massive list. Are you ready?
