Plumbing iis definately not part of Project Pan!!!!! I'm amazed that you had the energy to tackle the inventory after having sorted the plumbing! I'd never have been brave enough to do both 🤣🤣🤣
4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)Original End Date - Sept 2041 New projection - Sep 2038 (reduced by 3 years)3 -
Well I had to get everything put to tackle the plumbing, and now I've laid it out on the living room floor, doing an inventory seemed preferable to actually sorting it out 😂😂
But it can't stay on the living room floor! Gosh I am SO rubbish at chucking stuff though 😱 Mind you, Mr C is worse so it's probably best if I get cracking before he comes back 😬

I'm always surprised at the random amount of stuff we accumulate.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
That was an epic cupboard! You are inspiring me to share the 'Nook of Doom' in my downstairs loo … 🤣

I know! Both of us spend quite a bit of time in charity shops, it's a dangerous passtime 😬
Do let us know how you get on! I'm inspired to sort out the other bathroom drawers now 😬 stand by for more shocking lists.
Pleased to report that all out of date, non-prexcription medicines (lemsip cough mix, mouthwash etc) has been discarded, along with a non-trivial amount of other stuff that won't get used and is so ancient i wouldn't pass it on. And I used the sachet of hair mask in the shower I sorely needed when I'd finished 😂

Impressive bathroom cupboard contents Cheery! Love how a random boiler part is on the inventory. Looking forward to seeing the "after" photo 😁

Ha, I didn't even take an after photo 😂 it looks much better, but probably still quite cluttered to many people's standards 😬

Well done on evacuating the 'better gone than kept' items - that is the part I have the most difficulty with as does the OH - he has random cables from 20+ years ago & I have cloths that I've never worn 🤣- doing one 'hotspot' at a time followed up with a self-care reward is what gets me through it! Our house is mostly tidy but we too have nooks of doom that neither of us wants to face!

Urgh, definitely relate to that. The amount of half-working phone cables we have is truly shocking 😱 We are definitely a 'best keep it just in case' household 😂 But out of date, half used bottles of cough mix seemed like a reasonably uncontroversial place to start 😂

Well done, cheery! I know you're going to think I'm sad for admitting this, but one of my favourite jobs that I get asked to do by my cleaning customers is cleaning out kitchen or bathroom cupboards! I love getting rid of all the old stuff, cleaning it all out and putting things back in nice and tidy! I have issues, I know 😅
I've been mortgage free once, so let's do it again!
