It looked like it might be one of those massive ones they have at the zero waste shop! Rather than something you'd buy for your house. Or maybe you'd have it to fill up dispensers in a guest house or something? Who knows.
Lots of different ways of being female @Jellytotts no need to hand back your card! 😊
Lovely evening tonight at anniversary party 😊 they'd hired a room above a pub and I was expecting standard large emptying function room, but it was a really nicely done out little restaurant vibe, and we had excellent tasty food. Lovely. Mr C and I stopped at a cafe on the way, and had a cocktail each after our food 😁 so the joint treats budget has taken a bit of a hit today 😬 around £35 in total, so not too bad. Good that food was free (for us - generously paid for by our hosts).
Are hosts are generously also letting us stay over. I came upstairs to do my duolingo homework before I missed the cut off, but now I'm upstairs I'm VERY tempted to go to bed. Mr C was deeply engrossed in a conversation about hats so I don't think he'll miss me... 😬😂5 -
Well if nail varnish and handbags a female make, then me too! 😉Jellytotts said:How would anyone use 20l of lotion???? Actually don’t answer that!
I’m so naff at being a woman, I don’t own any nail varnish and only have a big blue pot of Nivea that gets used on body/face/hands….add a small tin of Vaseline for my lips and that’s me done. Don’t own any make up but do have a pot of hair gel/wax to tame my staticky fine hair.
I only own one handbag too!
I really should hand back my “female” card.
I think it takes more than that to be female, a woman 😊

I'm pretty certain you get to be woman whichever way you want - as long as you feel woman, you are woman. TBH - I have some male friends who are more into lotions and potions then I am! - For that matter I've got two who get manicures, wear nail varnish & eyeliner and mineral powder in their everyday lives! - @Jellytotts - It's just so important that 'you do you' in the best way you can with no stereotypes or expectations!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I knew I was going to be a female fail before I was even 10 when I was given a doll for Xmas instead of the scalectrix I asked for. I was not happy.7

Evening chums 😊
Gosh I am tired today. We had a restless night, and a lovely breakfast with pals, and then headed home through the pouring rain. I had my first band practice of the new season (there were lots of people missing and some unnecessary grouchiness 🙄 but otherwise cheerful)
Then a nice lazy evening, watching a film with Mr C and doing some crochet. I think I've only got about 20 rows left now, plus the border, til I've finished! It will have taken me less than 6 months (assuming I finish before mid October, still not guaranteed at this point!)
So. Working at home tomorrow, with only one small meeting at lunchtime. I have planned out meals. Also planned a goals meeting with sister in the evening, thinking Mr C would be out but his trip has been cancelled.
Want to get up early enough for a brief walk out to the road first thing (and perhaps to get some washing on) so I'm activating the StayFree thing on the phone to stop me looking at it in the morning. If you spot me in here, feel free to tell me off!!14 -
Ha, so much for getting up early! I woke several times in the night and was whacked this morning, didn't even get out of bed til 10.30, meaning I ended up working til almost 8pm 🙄 Not remotely ideal! Then I had a lengthy goals meeting with my sister, so, aside from pegging washing out and bringing it back in (wetter than it went out) I have basically sat in the same chair all day 🙄
Still, a NSD for me! Mr C bought milk and a pineapple 😂 But is very much congratulating himself on not having spent ANY of his personal spends yet 😂 I can't say the same but at least haven't spent anything today (or yesterday). Shouldn't spend anything tomorrow either, working at home and in a 7 hour meeting 😬
Nowt else financial to report, I don't think!7 -

Sounds like some of our voluntary role meetings Cheery - although thankfully, now we have slightly more frequent ones, they don't tend to drag on as much, something appreciated by us all I think!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
