@Cheery_Daff - I am the worst hoarder for lotions and potions! Definately not fastidious in any way shape or form.

I've had to learn new ways over the past few years in order to use them up, and still make mistakes like the 5L anti-bac gel!  I tried the use up one at a time rule to no avail, as I'm partial to a scented product and use them as strikes my mood! I do now make a point of using products on weekends as well, a good excuse to slather on the deep treatments and thicker moisturizers that don't get used up during the work week.

I have actually switched to smaller sizes of everything (on sale of course) so that I could still have the thrill of a new product without wasting old ones.  I've also employed the snowball effect, using up all the samples first to create room & then moving on to the other open products.  I do however fall foul of seasonal gift boxes with 20-odd sample sizes of the latest fad.  All in budget of course, money being the limiting factor to my whims.

Of the back of this convo with you, I've had a look at the summer scented potions this morning and  and moved the ones with the least left in them to the front of the queue so that they are done by the 21st when I move back to autumn scents.  thankfully most products have a 12 to 24 month shelf-life before they give up the ghost, so can be used again next year and give me the illusion of a new to me product!

Hey Cheery - I'm sure you're aware but Attic 24's blog is back up and functioning - hopefully will be there until the 30th/9, and obviously, as you know, she's trying to transfer it elsewhere.  I'm not too sure whether to start the Woodland or not.  I have the yarn, but I'm not a fast crocheter.  Still, first world problems.

Ooh, that's very satisfying,  well done!

I'm going to have a decluttering of nail varnish i think - this one I've put on today is ancient and looking rather patchy and gloopy 🙄 I'll be leaving it on for tonight,  and then getting rid.  The two I bought at the same time (several years ago) are equally grim.  I only really noticed when I bought a new one for a party recently (bright pink,  not my usual colour!) and it went on beautifully and didn't go gloopy at all! 😂😂

If you like them try putting a drop of nail varnish remover in them and giving them a shake

There is also a dedicated nail varnish thinner that I've seen at of all places TKMXX - I've used products like this in the past, but now that my nail varnish wardrobe is thinned down & seasonal, I tend to finish the bottle before it thickens!
