I sometimes do meetings from the sofa with the camera off Cheery, as too long in my office chair gets uncomfortable (and boring).4

I think you could legitimately stand up periodically stand up during some of these meetings, so long as you are still audible.

One of them has been shortened by half an hour, and another has been cancelled, so things are looking good! 😂
Just had a text and our NW thank you payments have arrived. It's a joint account so £50 each 😊😊9 -
News on the changes to today's meetings.
My Nationwide payout arrived yesterday and OH's today I did consider paying it off our Nationwide mortgage but in the end I decided to add it to our easy access cash savings to help with cash flow and possibly buying our eldest some clothes.

After that nasty slip & bang I know what my actions would be & indeed were. As the fall I am fairly sure was caused by a combination of tiredness & pain distraction, I would have painkillers to hand along with a way of taking them.I got mine Nationwide text & £50 yesterday too.3

Good advice @badmemory although in this case I would have got up anyway to use the loo and refill the hot water bottle.
I'm pretty steady on my feet as a general rule. In this case it was caused by a blanket having been thrown up the (painted wooden) stairs and both of us having just stepped over it on the way to bed, so that's a fairly easy learning point for the future - one we should have learned several decades ago 😂😂
Just had an answerphone message from the LPG company complaints department saying they've played around with figures and managed to sort a reduction in our bill. Not what that reduction is, mind you! They want me to call them back to discuss. Mr C suggested waiting til I'm hungry again 😂 I think it's a good strategy for dealing with complaints for someone like me who's a mild mannered pushover when well-fed 😂😂7 -

I love that you need to be Hangry to stick to your guns!
For me it is being coffee-less - hard calls get done before morning coffee! In the office a couple of folks always ask if I've had coffee before they bring me issues, as they know I'm much sweeter when well-caffinated!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! 😂😂 it's definitely a good strategy for me! 😂 I've always done it the other way round (made sure I was well fed if I was nervous about something or likely to get cross in a meeting), and sweet things have always soothed me (hence my expanding waistline 🙄) but I've never thought to use it to my advantage before 😂4

Sorry to hear about your fall and hope you are not still suffering. I loved your hay box. How are you finding it? I was about to make a wonderbag as I have lots of material floating around, but could make a hay box if they are better? Anyway, get better soon!Save £20,000 in 2025. April 2k, May 3.5k3
