Thanks beanie xx
I've had a nice long bath, and finally stopped feeling sick enough to feel confident about painkillers, which are very slowly kicking in. Just heading back to bed with a cuppa, a little bit of bread and jam, and a hot water bottle.
Finally got chance to use the arnica salve I made in 2022 😂😂5 -
Oh Cheery, that sounds painful! I hope the bath did the trick and you are currently fast asleep and recuperating. Take it easy today!
Nationwide sent me a text, but no letter (not since mid-March when they announced it). It just appeared in my account. Hth.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oh Cheery - that does sound painful, and you must have been shocked/shaken too. Fingers crossed everything settles and the painkillers 'do their thing'.
Sending healing vibes across the ether to you.

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

I was awake for a good 2.5 hours but I did go back to sleep for another few hours after that. Sadly had to set my alarm for 9am and am about to attempt to get out of bed 😬
I've got meetings 10.30 til 2 with no break 😬 so I imagine if I'm not stiff when I get up, I will be after that 😂4 -
Cheery hope you feel OK? Do you have arnica tablets to hand as they help enormously with bruises. Take care love Humdinger xx2
