Right, a day of errands.
Popped to the tyre place and got 2 new (all season) tyres and the tracking done for £148.
That prompted me to contact Tyres on the Drive again. I was going to ring, but then I remembered Resolver, so I've put it through there instead.
Put cash from Mr C Snr into the bank, so that's looking more healthy now.
We're off out tonight, and staying over with friends. Just having a cosy sit on the sofa before getting ready. Right now I'd quite happily stay here for several hours!7 -

Oh Dearest Cheery - as I first read your post, Transvision Vamp were playing on R2 'All Request Friday'. Although the song 'I want your love' wasn't as big a hit (in Young Farmers) as 'Baby I don't care' - it did take me straight back to Young Farmers discos. And for sure, the 'night out' would NOT yet have started on a Friday night in the 1980's! but goodness, I was humming along (DH just arrived home), and I was thinking to myself, gosh....... I'm glad I've nowhere to go 🤣
Have a great time out with your chums.

😂😂 I shall mostly be sitting down while Mr C entertains the troops, and at least on this occasion there isn't much for me to carry, which is good. But obviously that means we have to stay til after closing time... and our friends have usually made a meal for afterwards (!) so it'll be a late night (and I'm peckish NOW, so might not be able to resist crisps in the next 5 or 6hours 😬3

Thanks beanie, you too 😊😊
Currently hiding out having a cuppa in a different pub while they set up 😁 and then I might sneak a nap in the car!
In the meantime though, I have a reply from Halfords - they have disabled their customer service email address (of course they have!) so can no longer be contacted through Resolver 🙄 so that's another job for tomorrow, and I imagine their phone lines will be shut 🙄4 -
Grrr - How annoying about Halford's!
Hope you got some nibbles to go with that cup of tea!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Well that was a lovely evening, but cheese and onion pie at almost 1am is probably not going to make for a comfortable night! 😬😂😂4
