Thank you all xxx we are indeed exhausted but I am delighted to report that I had a shower this morning and am NOT wearing my DIY clothes (these need a wash too but they're far better than the others). Going home once we've had breakfast and packed up 😊😊4

Thank you all xxx
Made it home with 20 mins before I had to go out to band practice, and since I got home all I've done is eat and have a very long bath, so no washing (except myself 😂), no unpacking of cars etc. Hey ho.
Working at home tomorrow so I can at least do a bit of washing and don't have to get up at stupid o'clock.
Need to have a good sort out of finances this week. Things are all in the wrong accounts, I need to stop standing orders to finished regular savers, need to pay the plumber, need to sort out what we've paid out for Mr C Snr and what we'll get back (he wants to pay for everything we bought for his house, which is fair enough - we'll pay for the extra care home stay).
Also need to sort out home insurance (due 11th March so got a while but I will check since I dropped the ball with the car insurance).
Also need to pay the plumber, and figure out if he needs to come back - the bath water went cold just once while running it tonight, better than it was but still means you have to babysit it).
Priority tomorrow though is work. At home but I might stick a Do Not Disturb sign on the door just in case... 😬7 -
