On Flux is was a bit easier - well worth importing on night rate and exporting at peak, but not at standard rate. The Flux rates aren't as good as Go.

I think there's finally a 4-hour block coming up tonight that makes sense for me to use for the DW (but it may not be full, so I won't bother), the towel rail in my bathroom (electric only - the other two have a radiator/towel rail on the heating circuit as well as the electric towel rail), and sticking some laundry on for a hot wash. Just need to decide whether it'll be the bedding (in which case it needs to go in to pre-soak now) or the cleaning cloths. Probably the latter TBH as I CBA to deal with the bedding right now!

Ooh, lots of interesting energy chat, keep it up! We will have to see what happens to today's readings tomorrow - Mr Cheery made soup tonight, at half past six! 😱😂😂 Wonder how much that cost?!

In other news... just totted up October's extra income.

£6 Hotel refund (we booked for a friend's gig which was cancelled, and when we changed the date it was cheaper 😂)
    £1.14 TCB
£60.98 Happy Wheel (in one night 😂)

    = £68.12

Not bad, but I've had MUCH better months this year! Tried to cash out Prolific but it was only up to £4.92 and the cashout limit is £6 🙄😂

Still, up to £2370.35 for the year, not bad at all! I'd love to get up to £3000 but most of the current total is from bank switching so it's unlikely, and I'm not going to put loads of effort into selling etc.

Still, now the nights are darker this seems a good time to refocus on Prolific, 1Poll and the Happy Wheel, so let's see how far that gets us in November - I hear by vow to check all three every day!

I've programmed some battery charging, some heating in the ensuite, and a delayed start wash (well, delayed finish). The WM is probably the least predictable, as it rarely starts and finishes when it expected given the time it claims it will take plus the delay set. But as it's a 'hygiene' wash of all the cleaning cloths hopefully it'll mostly be in the cheaper slots.

Good luck with the extra income. As you say, dark nights are a good time for dealing with admin or surveys. Having said that I can't be bothered to go and get my paperwork from the office to deal with after work!

    That's a nice compromise Beanie 😊 Yes, I'll aim for that! 😊😊

I quite like doing something specific in the evening 😂 Obviously it's better if it's fun, but I quite like something productive too.

At the minute we're focused on decluttering. Mr C is turning out the music room again, and today has properly stored several giant velvet curtains ready to go back in the loft, that'll make a huge difference.

We found the marriage certificate in a pile of stuff so that's been stored somewhere slightly more sensible 😂

On the whole i spend enough time mindlessly scrolling round the Internet, I might as well be doing something that earns some money! 😂

Tomorrow Mr Cheery is off to see a very poorly friend 😕 I'm going to take myself on a little day out using my English heritage membership I think. Heading for somewhere around an hour away - there are two places within 5 miles of each other so I might see if I can get to both. I'll go to one then see what time it is, don't want to rush, I'd rather plan to go back another day.

Ooh, that's good! No,  I can't see a referral code either.  I quote like them - if they screen you out it's is usually in the first couple of questions.  Surveys are usually only worth 20-25p but they're quick so you can do them in a queue! I've downloaded the app recently which makes it slightly easier. There are a lot of surveys too so if you're consistent it adds up. Going to see if I can get to payout in a month - might be ambitious but you never know if you try,  and I'm already at £1.51 so a slight head start! 😂
