RT, yes please do ping over the link, rabbit holes always welcome!
Definitely need more core strength vix 🙄 more everything strength!
Anyway, this is a good lesson for me - it's happened a few times now over the last couple of years, never lasting more than a couple of days but clearly something I'm prone to. Will focus on stretching, core strength, more movement in general, and losing a bit of weight, which will also help.
In bed now after 15 mins of VERY gentle stretching, which did help. Mr C found a weird wheat bag blanket/wraparound thing which is excellent and the perfect thing so I'm going to try to go to sleep before the heat wears off (far too quickly when you're used to a hot water bottle that retains a bit of heat right through till morning!)3 -
Ouch to your poor back Cheery - I’m convinced there is little less miserable than a bad back, as it insists on reminding you about it ALL the time! Hopefully the heat pack thing will help.
The site I’ve mostly been using for the Agile stuff is the Octopriceuk.app site - free, and you can input your details so it sees your actual use too, hence being able to see the average unit price. For quick eyeballing of how we’re doing though I'm just using 24p/kWh as the comparison as that’s roughly what we would have been paying on the fix we jumped off.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I still have to get my solar set up properly on Octopus & then I have to decide on what fix. I feel absolutely clueless & don't know even where to start. At least it should stop my now elderly brain from going MIA. At least I hope so or we are in serious trouble.

badmemory said:I have a wii fit & it has one exercise where basically you wiggle your hips to hit the right numbers. I haven't done it for a couple of weeks & my back keeps reminding me. Known in this house as me waddling like a duck. DS even noticed & I'm not sure if he would notice if the sun fell out of the sky.
Sending sympathy for the back, Cheery.3 -
If have no idea where to start with solar either badmemory!
Pretty low use yesterday, we got up late and left pretty quickly. I got home about five, Mr C about half 8, but we didn't do any cooking etc. I switched on kettle, lights, heating, laptop when I got in, then went in the bath. Not sure what Mr C switched on when he got in - probably kettle and microwave? Looks like a big spike but it's not in the grand scheme.
Thanks for the average cost info EH. I'm yay if the Octopus Compare app (also free, but you can pay for extra features, which in not).
It does give average cost info - but I've yet to work out whether that's average cost of what we've used, or average cost of the tariff over 24 hours..
Agile is still coming out cheaper every day anyway. I thought the standing charges were different, must check...
Must first attempt to get out of bed... slept pretty well actually, it doesn't hurt till I try to move and I was plastered under the heated blanket thing so I didn't move around much!3 -
Oh, and no sign of Mr C's laptop yet. We sent it with the 48 hour return label on Wed 23rd. Automatic notification from backmarket on Thurs 24th saying the seller had received it, and would return it within 5 business days.
Then another notification from backmarket on Tues 29th saying 'this is just to formally inform you that the seller received your item on Monday 28th' 🤔 This message also said 'the seller has five business days to complete a repair' - not the same as returning it to me in 5 days...
It's now Saturday and there's been no further message, so if we don't hear on Monday I must remember to get back in touch...3 -

Made it out of bed! 😃 Took a while. I think breakfast, painkillers, bath, yoga, resting and maybe a gentle walk are on the cards today 🙄8
