And thanks for the performance tips LaPlan! It's funny, I'm pretty much fine with public speaking (still get nervous, but can still function), but music is different. Although I have not yet failed to function altogether, just missed out a few bits, which I do while speaking, it's just more obvious with music because you can't backtrack and say the sentence again 😂

😊😊 Had a lovely day today 😊😊 Sun has been shining, and I've spent the entire day in the garden 😊 Mr Cheery's friend has been here, and they've been doing musical stuff while I've been out shifting stones 😂 But look!!



Looks better in the sunshine, but I'm really pleased with it 😊 Tomorrow I've got a couple of plants to pot up, and I've got to fit the water butt, but then I'm declaring it finished 😊😊😊



The only thing I've bought new is the water butt, and a couple of herbs from the 'nearly dead' section of the DIY shop 😂 Everything else we had already. Quarry tiles were here when we moved in (they're leftover from the floor in the extension 😂) and the big stones are mostly out of the chimney we dismantled (as in, it was almost the entire width of the house up both floors and the loft - not just the little stack on the roof. No shortage of stones round here 🙄😂)

After tomorrow I'm declaring this project officially finished, which leaves me an opening for a new outdoor project... 🤔 Although it's only about 4 weeks til scything starts, so I might use that time to get on with the next couple of DIY tasks - one of them will involve a lot of angle grinding so will take over the garden for a bit anyway...

Anyway, it's been a nice calm day, we all cooked and ate lunch outside together, and the only money I've spent was on a quick milk run to the village shop (although as usual I forgot their £5 limit for card spending, so ended up buying butter and some random dish cloths to bump it over the limit).

Tea and tv now, and an early night I think!

Just had monthly DD email from 🐙 Checked the balance forecast, and it recommended reducing from £57.61 to £50.67. I've done that, and I'll add the extra to the monthly savings amount. We're £219 in credit which is plenty at this time of year I think. Electric only, obviously.

Not treated them, but they've been thrown in a pile in that corner of the garden since before we moved in 6 years ago so they'll probably be fine 😂 Or they won't, I guess we'll find out.
