I confess I haven't actually got any hay in the new one yet 😂😂 but I used the other one for 2 years and loved it. It does take a fair bit of room though - obviously the size of the pan plus a decent space for hay, so a wonder bag might be better if you've got limited space. I did consider making a really solid one that could double as a little bench in the corner but I didn't in the end. The New hay is drying out in the greenhouse, I'll retrieve it tomorrow 😊

So, I am now off work for 17 days! 🥳 made even sweeter by the fact that I only need to take a total of 6 days of annual leave 🥳

Some tasks for tomorrow...

⭐ 6 mile walk (will set off for this and see how my back is - it's been sore today, but it's not muscle pain, more surface stinging, like a graze)
⭐ do some more investigating before ringing LPG company
⭐ send a couple of emails in relation to promotion application/potential funding bid

Hmm, I'm sure there was another admin task... what was it?? 🤔 wasn't ringing the garage, I did that today... Oh! 

⭐ ring and book on local medical training session (they're covering how to use the defibrillator, and what to do if someone is choking, bleeding, or having a heart attack - useful stuff when the nearest ambulance station is 30 miles away 😬)

Also other things like generally tidying up, a few OATs, finding the curtain hooks and the drill bits, a bit of strimming, and preparing for visitors on Saturday 😊

Thank you, I will be careful - but if its just a bit of a graze/bruise it'll not stop me going for a walk. Normally I take any excuse I can to get out of exercise but I'm quite enthused at the minute! We'll see - I've got plenty of other pottering to get done if I don't go.  I'll set off and if it's too sore I'll just go round the block and come back! 

OATs are Outstanding Annoying Tasks - @PennysIntoPounds set up a thread in March to tackle those little things that annoy you every time you walk past but that you never do anything about,  and people enjoyed it so much we've got an April thread going too 😊 I'll find a link - come join us!

@Cheery_Daff - haha - think I might just do that - it's not so much things I see, as I'm very much about visual triggers reminding me to do something, but it is that never-ending list of 'paper' admin that needs scheduling in!

Ha, yes I know the feeling! 

Gosh, it's a glorious day 🤩 I did ditch my run after all, back is sore and I was holding myself a bit funny, so a 2 hour walk wasn't going to do me any good. I'll go gently round the parkrun tomorrow - it's loops round the park so I can just drop out in the middle if I need to. 

Got the strimmer out and did round all the awkward bits I missed the other day.

Just about to peg out the sheets off the spare bed ready for visitors. Might change our bed too. 

Spray painted a rusty garden table, that's drying in the sun and Mr C is hopefully picking up more paint for a second coat.

Also took the sealant off from round the bath - it was barely stuck anyway and some had ripped, and I'd bought some ridiculous tape to replace it from a charity shop (it has pineapples and avocados on 😂😂) so I'll go and finish scraping that now 😊

Going to do a bit more garden tidying and maybe go on a tip run either later or in the morning. Mr C took a few small things today on his way out, but I'll probably have a big builders bag of garden stuff to go too. 

Also want to go round and pick up all the bits of tupperware, glasses, gloves etc that I spotted while doing the strimming 😂

Got sidetracked while removing the sealant and did a LOT of cleaning of awkward ignored corners in the bathroom, very satisfying.

Also had plenty of spray paint left so have sprayed the table and all four chairs, so now we've got 2 tables and 4 chairs that all match  and aren't showing any rust 😊 they won't last forever - one of the tables is rusting through in various places, but this will prolong their life. 

Not a mad makeover for £5 worth of paint 😊
