Another vote for just getting on and getting outside stuff done. After all, if you're clean and then do messy stuff, you'll just need to get clean later
(Having said that I had a shower after my workout as thanks to having builders here all week I haven't really had a chance to wash my hair and it needed it!

Ha, thank you for your advice, both of you! I went with a shower first - I can't STAND my hair being in need of a wash, it just makes me generally feel incompetent 🙈 so I am at least dressed and have had breakfast. Heading into town with Mr C to pick up my prescription and a birthday card, then we'll see where we are with the weather.
So basically I've not done what either of you suggested, sorry 😂😂4 -

My vote is for being a sloth in fuzzy lounge wear! - but I am a couple of hours late to the (non) motivation party and see you've already gone the do something route 🤣🤣🤣4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! If your hair needed washing then the shower was definitely a good idea. At least you've moved2

😂😂 thank you,you lot. My hair is clean, and I got a birthday card in town, although I have not yet posted it, and the chemist is shut til Tuesday so I don't have my prescription either 🙄 But we did get a free cuppa in a cafe so not too bad.
Incidentally, I'm not sure how I feel about the new octopod coffee system. The old system was that you basically had to snag your coffee on Monday morning, but could use it whenever. Now they release new ones each day, and I have so far failed to get one. Presumably they're still valid for a week rather than just that day? Anyway, nothing really wrong with the system I suppose, I just haven't built the right habit yet!
Had a nice afternoon of crochet 😊 Had plenty of other more 'useful' things to do but this has made me really quite cheerful 😊
We're defrosting some of the risotto mountain Mr Cheery made for our guests last week and we are going to have a nice tea with a glass of something cold 😊5 -
And a plan for tomorrow, so I don't just drift through it when there are things to do! Tonight first...
FRIDAY
⭐ text cousin for her new address
⭐ tidy away crocheting stuff
⭐ hoover living room
⭐ straighten kitchen and dining table for a nice tea
⭐ pack seeds to send to friend
SATURDAY
Early morning: out and about
⭐ post cousin's card
⭐ Parkrun!
⭐ breakfast
10.30-12: admin
⭐ reply to LPG email (yes, I've been putting it off for a week)
⭐ banks/YNAB
⭐ cancel standing orders to redundant savings account
12-1: food
⭐ lunch and associated tidying
1-3: career
⭐ promotions form
⭐ associated emails
⭐ draft reference for colleague
3-5: outside
⭐ grass out of field
⭐ sow more seeds
⭐ plant out wild garlic
I also need to think about my tea party next weekend - could do with making some cake in advance and getting it in the freezer, so that might happen tomorrow too...
😬 already feels too much and I'm regretting sitting on my backside all day today 😬 absolute priorities for tomorrow are
1. Something on promotions form - I'm putting this off and it's eating away at the back of my mind
2. LPG email - also putting this off
3. Posting birthday card
4. Planning cake
What a mess of lists 😂😂 does feel better to have a vague plan though!6 -
I’ve finally today got a code for octopus coffee - they all expire on Sunday as normal so you don’t get them for 7 daysSealed pot challenge 822

So you mind me asking about the wild garlic? I'm keen to plant some but buying bulbs seems so expensive, any tips or are you relocating from somewhere else on your land?1
-
Thanks @dawnybabes you prompted me to try and I've got one now!
@CCW007 I bought a plant from a little farm shop for £4. It looks like it might have several bulbs so I might be able to separate 😊2
