So the WS bundle deadline is Monday 8th December,  hearing fee deadline is later on Thursday 11th December,  court hearing is pencilled in for Monday 22nd December,  all seems rushed,  but your task now is to draft your WS plus Exhibits bundle ASAP

You are the first witness and have been ordered by the court to provide it ( its your WS , not mine  )

This was the advice in another thread today 

This is a claim based upon contract law.

Address offer, acceptance, consideration and intention to agree legal relations.

It needs to be a witness statement (what happened) but also address the legal aspect as to why you don't owe the money because there was no contract between the parties.

You seem to have forgotten to go back to the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

It's there because we can't do this piecemeal. I wrote a long list of recommended exhibits ... that nobody seems to read.

It's a self-help forum, so we need posters to read the NEWBIES thread (and re-read your defence of course) and show us your planned WS and exhibits.

You have been pointed at help by @Coupon-mad and @Gr1pr but also you could read the below and if you follow what @Coupon-mad wrote, she points to some recent examples of WSs and evidence to attach: -

Your witness statement is "in support of your defence as already filed" and therefore should be ............... in support of and back up whatever you put in your defence.  It is a narrative of what happened on the day and subsequently, written in the first person in your own words.  It happened to you so no one on here can write it for you.  Reduce the impact of anything negative and emphasise the impact of anything positive. It is also your chance to attach any evidence that you wrote about in your defence.  Read other witness statements to see what those posters wrote - particularly successful ones.

i have read them but im unsure - my defence is the machine wasnt working so not sure what i will show as exhibits or who will be a witness ?

You are witness number 1,  possibly the only witness,  the defendant is always witness number 1

Your exhibits will be any proof of a machine failure,  plus other court cases or laws etc where they back up your reasons for not paying the outstanding invoice ( the currently unpaid pcn issued by the parking company ECP   )
