Hi Apologies for starting a new thread .

Just looking for some advice .

I have received a letter from the above which is a pre legal advice note ( Terminal Notice - Pre legal action ) , What would be the best way for me to handle this - They are wanting £170 from me for parking in Morissons car park ?

Any advice given much appreciated - Just dont want to give them scum bags any money  !

Cheers

  • Did you read the advice on the Newbies thread before starting your own thread?  If so what happened when you asked Morrisons to arrange cancellation of the PCN?

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

You are safe to ignore debt collectors letters.
If that wasn't so, the suggestion would not have been made.

Did you try this online form for Morrisons customers who receive a parking charge at one of their stores? Works for most people:

    Which parking firm?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Use the complaint form to Morrisons.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Reply from Morrisons -

    Good afternoon Tony

    Thanks for contacting us.

I’m very sorry to say that this car park is owned and operated by a private landlord and not by Morrisons.

Due to this we’re unable to assist you with the charge. You’ll be best contacting the Parking Company directly to appeal the charge.

My apologies we’re unable to help further on this occasion.
